A B O U T

I love exploring wild places with my camera in hand, inspired to find different kinds of beauty and new ways of being. It's led to spending a lot of time surrounded by plants, and gradually feeling a deeper sense of belonging and relationship with them. Plants are fascinating - diverse, beautiful, sentient and adaptable. They are nourishing, modulating and familiar to us on an innate level.

I'm drawn to plant medicine because it tends to be gentle and holistic, but also because I believe that relating to plants and being open to what they have to teach us can offer deep healing. While our bodies have the uncanny ability to self-heal, I believe we facilitate healing through community, and that community extends to the plants in our lives. The foods we eat can be our medicine. Like code, providing information to our cells and affecting our gene expression, immunity, mood and outlook on life.

I have formally studied 'Western' community herbalism, but I continue to learn, unlearn and grow. This space will be where I share my love for the plants I've studied and feel familiar with.

I am also offering one-on-one herbal consultations on a sliding scale.
